Just getting people to collaborate when they are face-to-face can be hard enough. But how about as collaboration gets more and more sophisticated. What tools should we be considering? What should you be trying now to make sure you don't fall behind the curve?
Here are 3 steps I take to see how I am advancing my collaboration... especially with the impending dominance of blockchain solutions:
1st - communicating with each other. Does it bother you that Google & Microsoft have almost complete control of your #1 communication channel (email)? Or how about Slack and WhatsApp not far behind them...
Really - you don't care that a couple companies control almost all the communication on the planet?
What's different you might say? And for that matter, what's different about everything I am recommending today? DAO... Distributed Autonomous Organizations. You control your own data. Everything still works like normal, but you aren't a serf in the monarchy of silicon valley.
2nd - How about your id. Can you verify it? But who owns that verification. We all know about the credit and other identity disasters. How about:
Shobadge for keeping track of your id with companies?
Civic for sharing your real id? Or
Uport.Me for an open identity system?
3rd - How about your organization and work style?
Aragon for the creation and maintenance of organizational structures by using blockchain technology.
Colony for tackling every day tasks (agile kanban...) and even paying people by task.
Just start trying - it is literally the only way to begin to even understand what these crazy companies are up to that will change your life in the not to distant future. You can also keep up to date on the all changing DApps at any time: https://dappradar.com/
