Premier, which currently analyzes discharge information from 600 nonprofit hospitals, will expand its patient level data collection activities to gather more data. Keith Figoli, Premier's SVP of Healthcare Informatics notes that "using our data and collaborative capabilities, hospitals can compare their performance in specific areas, find opportunities for improvement and track the results of their efforts."
