Feast of Strangers, Feast of Strangers

FEAST OF STRANGERS
Basically, it’s a shared meal with people that you (mostly) don’t know. Instead of describing what it is, it’s probably better to understand how it works.

Step 1: Two people (Stranger #1 and Stranger #2) decide to host a Feast of Strangers. They decide on a date/time/location.

Step 2: Stranger #1 invites someone Stranger #2 doesn’t know. Stranger #2 invites someone Stranger #1 doesn’t know.

Step 3: Stranger #3 invites someone Stranger #1 doesn’t know. Stranger #4 invites someone Stranger #2 doesn’t know.

Step 4: Everyone meets at the pre-arranged time/place. It’s always an interesting conversation, and quite possibly the best way to meet cool, new people.

Basically, there are only 2 rules:
1. Before they are officially invited, a person has to make a good-faith commitment to the time/place and concept.
2. The person who invited you and the person you invite should not know each other!
