What is the best way to create teams? Or organize a cohort of people? Or design study groups? Search HBR for industry leading advice or ResearchGate, offering thousands of articles on the topic, or the Academy of Management for focused team performance ideas. Or listen to the Serendip Princes and Buckminster Fuller's solution - you get the point, there's no shortage of input on how to best organize people for impactful results.

But is there really a one-size-fits-all solution or do you have to sample all of the 'solutions' to see which one may lead your team to success? Knowing that the connectivity of people is critical for future of work success, we set out uncover the answer to creating successful, long-term relationships. In 2017, we connected 1 million people. We introduced people at conferences such as TED and the World Economic Forum, at dozens of Fortune 100 companies, and at leading educational institutions.

We did this by building an engine that lets you provide as much (or as little, and yes, GDPR compliant) data as you want to create the best possible teams. If you think that Buckminster's way might be best, plug it in to our easy-to-use interface, and we will give you his best teams for your groups of people. If you think past performance data is the most critical input, well great! We will help you make the best teams with that data.

What we learned and are continuing to learn is that there is no 'one-size-fits-all' approach, however we do know that the answer lies in allowing the user the opportunity to prioritize and customize their teams/cohorts/groups data to uncover the solution that is most valuable to them.

The image at the top of this post shows the model of how we look at all the elements of what makes great teams. It isn't just about a survey or data set, but critical in-person interactions with others, the output produced, and each individual's ability to filter and weave information to and with others.

We work in partnership with you to create groups, cohorts, circles, teams, tribes, (insert one of hundreds of names for gatherings of amazing individuals) to create an impactful collaboration for the future of work...

Come along for the ride so we can create:

  • the future of work
  • the future of working together
  • the future of working together to positively impact those around us...
