ScanScribe is a research prototype document image editor
that makes it easy to extract, manipulate, and combine sketches,
handwritten notes, whiteboard images, screen snapshots, and
scanned documents.ScanScribe advances three main ideas:
-document image editing
������as opposed to editing formatted text (e.g. MS Word)
or structured graphics (e.g. PowerPoint)-support for rough documents
������rough documents are images less structured than formatted
text,�such as handwritten notes, drawings, and figures-intelligent editing tools
������it is easy to select just the content you want, based�
on a novel user interface plus automatic analysis�
